"The Perfect" Slow Cooker Chili Beef Stew

. ½ LB Beef Stew Meat
4 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped (3/4 cup)
2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes with zesty mild green chillies, undrained
1 3/4 cup beef flavoured broth (from 32 oz carton)
1 tablespoon chilli powder
3 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Generous sprinkle of The Perfect Spice

  1. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, mix all ingredients.
  2. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 9 to 10 hours
  3. Substitution
    If diced tomatoes with zesty mild green chilies are not available, use plain diced tomatoes and add a 4.5
    ounce can of Old El Paso® chopped green chiles.
  4. Special Touch
    Garnish chili with sour cream, shredded Cheddar cheese and fresh cilantro.

Serves 4.
